In “Bring Me The Head of Ivy Pocket” by Kaleb Krisp, Ivy Pocket is a half Prosparian from the land of Prospa, and half human girl from our world, who is always running from people.
These aren’t normal people though. They are Miss Always, who is an evil Prosparian who has evil minions to help her do anything she can imagine. Ivy often disguises herself as Esmerelda Cabbage to get away without Miss Always noticing her, and to get the Dumbleby’s (a rich prosparian family) to tell Ivy secrets in order to solve mysteries.
Ivy has the instincts of everything you can think of.
I would recommend this book to any kid who likes the genres of fantasy and mystery.
The author’s descriptive writing makes the characters come to life. This novel, the last in a three book series, also has different ways of making you feel certain emotions at different parts.
How you feel about depends on your personality and which character you think is wrong or right. People who have wild imaginations would like the book too because you can relate to the author who wrote the book!
