“TBH, This Is SO Awkward” By Lisa Greenwald is a novel written in text messages.

This book is about three girls named Cecily, Prianka, and Gabby, who are going into sixth grade, and having their first boy-girl party!

A new girl, Victoria, keeps trying to become their friend by texting them and making new chat groups. Cecily is the only one that thinks they should just accept Victoria being in their group chats.

One day, Victoria’s mom sent a message to their school principal saying that Victoria is facing social cruelty because Cecily, Prianka, and Gabby were not including her in their group chat. And to add even more pressure to the situation, the Valentines Dance is coming up!

They don’t know what to do about the whole Victoria problem, and they may not even be able to go to Vishal’s boy-girl party because of their parents!

If you want to find out what happens next, read “TBH, This Is SO Awkward” by Lisa Greenwald.

I think this book is really interesting because I have never read a book all in text messages. I would rate this book a four out of five stars.

I think this book is really realistic because girls do go through the same problems Cecily, Prianka, and Gabby had to go through. I think this book is mostly for girls because the main characters are girls and they have some things in the book that most boys wouldn’t want to read.

I would also recommend this book for ages 8 to 11 years old.

I have never seen a book written in this style but it seems really cool! It seems like this is a book that I would LOVE so I think I might check it out. Thank you for not giving away any spoilers.

Nice review! I hope Victoria makes friends and that she isn’t bullied anymore. I can’t wait to read this book! :]

This sounds like a nice book. I have never read a book written in all text messages. I want to know what else happens! I’ll probably read it!

I’ll admit that you’re right about girls going through those problems sometimes, except I’m liking this book and I’m a boy; you actually beat me to contributing it. But good job explaining it. I would really like to read it as soon I’m able!
