If you love weather you’ll love this book. Al Roker is a host and weather anchor of the Today Show.

Roker has interviewed celebrities from Lin-Manuel Miranda to President Obama; however, the most important job Rocker has on the show is to update viewers on the weather.

Al Roker also informs us about different things in thunderstorms like Cloud-to-Ground lightning.

Here are two fascinating examples of what information you will find in this book: A tornado watch is when a tornado has not been spotted yet, but the conditions might lead to twisters, and a tornado warning means that a tornado has been spotted in the area.

The section I would recommend is the Derechos and Dust Storms. The pictures are really good. My favorite part of the book is when they show the captions with the information that tells you what’s going on.

I would recommend this book for people of all ages.

Cool weather book! Is a LARGE part of the book dedicated to tornados?

No. There are different sections. Every two pages has a different type of weather.
