“R.L.Stine Presents Scream and Scream Again!” by Mystery Writers of America is actually many short stories written by different authors. I liked this book because some of the stories had a scary twist at the end of the book, while others were funny.

One of my favorite stories of the whole book was the one written by R.L. Stine. It is called the “Best Revenge”. It involves two main characters always getting bullied by the same people. They decide to take matters into their own hands when the bullies take it too far. Let’s just say, it was not what I was expecting! It was better!

Another one of my favorites is called “The Only Child” by Joseph S. Walker. It was about this kid named Jake who was at a carnival. After he got off of a roller coaster, he sees his parents with another kid that looks just like him! He then learns that his parents can’t see him and that he is stuck in the park forever. Jake then is forced to think outside of the box if he wants to save himself.

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect for the end of this story and book. When I got to the end, I loved it and all of the other stories in the book. So, if you like getting scared or laughing then read this book.

Sounds like a good book. When you described the two characters getting bullied by the same people, and standing up for themselves, you made it seem it can go any kind of way. Good job, Samantha!

“The Only Child” sounds really interesting because of how Jake finds someone that looks just like him. I’d probably read this book, because “Best Revenge” sounds interesting too. Great job reviewing the book!

Why do u think RL Stine calls it “Scream and Scream Again!” if some stories are funny? Not to pressure anyone…

I usually don’t like horror, but this book sounds like something I’d really like to read because horror with a hint of laughter actually sounds very interesting!
