“ Wild Rescuers: Escape to the Mesa” is a  fun-filled adventure book. It is about a girl named Stacy who lives with a pack of intelligent arctic wolves in the taiga, and often rescues animals with her pack. Everything is fine, until someone gets a picture of Wink, who is one of the wolves. Stacy is worried that her wolves will be captured by people who are trying to study them. They would just hunker down, but there is just one problem; arctic wolves don’t exactly blend in with the taiga forest. Because of this, Stacy decides that they have to escape from the taiga until winter comes. To find out more, read the book!

I loved reading this book because it features wolves, and it is full of adventure. Though it features a girl, I think that this book would be interesting to both boys and girls. I would recommend this book to kids who are aged 7 to 15, because I think it would be interesting to a wide range of ages. It does, however, have a few words that are hard to read, and a few sad parts, so that is why I think that this book is suitable for kids 7 years old and over.

Please note that this book is the second in the Wild Rescuers series. The first book is called, “Guardians of the Taiga.” Here are some topics that you may be interested in after reading this book; the taiga, mesa biomes, and arctic wolves. The author also has a YouTube channel called stacyplays. Happy reading!
